AS A PERSONAL TRAINER
My love of lifting started when I was 16, when I had finally found something that would help me strengthen my body and brain in a healthy way. I’m now in my 30’s (having been a coach for over 6 years) and working out will still be the thing that I can do on my own terms, within the time I have available, to the maximum effort I have to give on any given day.
Strength and mobility work has continually been the thing that helps me to channel any frustrations and turns my brain off from those never ending tasks of life and makes me feel awesome afterwards! Even if I felt like a sack of potatoes heading into a session, afterwards it is always the opposite.
Learning how to best stabilise and strengthen the structures around my not so stable skeleton, has lead to a greater understanding of the human body and its capabilities; especially when it comes to movement and the strength within.
Getting in shape, feeling healthy and becoming confident in your own skin shouldn’t be feared or dreaded. I believe that fitness can (and should) be fun; and that what you will learn over time is priceless.
My teaching will always reflect this! Whether you need me to repeat myself, describe something differently, give you a few more tries to master something, chat about rubbish to distract you? I’m on it!
Training is not linear, there are likely to be some bumps in the road and sore muscles along the way; but it is worth it for the gains and confidence that you will create - for yourself, for life!

Regardless of how you choose to train, all sessions are tailored to what your body needs as much as what you want for yourself. Combining bodyweight, banded and weighted exercises to get your body working the best it can, correctly; whilst reducing the likelihood of injuries and pain.
I am here to teach and support you to reach and maintain your health and fitness goals for the long term, not to get you to do anything you hate or restrict your diet so you miss out on life.
