
MY STORY
AS A PERSONAL TRAINER
I have EDS (Hypermobility, to say the least!), PoTS, AuDHD, Brain struggles, Heart 'things' and some other glorious issues with my body. So when i tell you about myself, understand that i get it when things hurt or you aren't feeling up for training. ​

My love of lifting started in 2016, when I had finally found something that would help me strengthen my body and brain in a healthy way. I’m now in my 30’s (having been a coach for over 8 years) and working out will still be the thing that I can do on my own terms, within the time I have available, to the maximum effort I have to give on any given day. Sometimes energy is low and that's normal, but moving your body really does make a difference.

Strength and mobility work has continually been the thing that helps me to channel any frustrations and turns my brain off from those never ending tasks of life and makes me feel awesome afterwards! Even if I felt like a sack of potatoes heading into a session, afterwards it is always the opposite.
​
As someone with EDS, learning how to best stabilise and strengthen the structures around my not so stable skeleton, has lead to a greater understanding of the human body and its capabilities; especially when it comes to movement and the strength within.
​
Getting in shape, feeling healthy and becoming confident in your own skin shouldn’t be feared or dreaded. I believe that fitness can (and should) be fun; and that what you will learn over time is priceless.
​
My teaching will always reflect this! Whether you need me to repeat myself, describe something differently, give you a few more tries to master something, chat about rubbish to distract you? I’m on it!
​
Training is not linear, there are likely to be some bumps in the road and sore muscles along the way; but it is worth it for the gains and confidence that you will create - for yourself, for life!

YOUR TRAINING
WHAT WILL IT LOOK LIKE?

Each of your sessions are planned around what you need for your body and brain, to have you feeling stronger and more confident within yourself - for life, not just for an event or the short term.

You'll be sent an E Book as a part of your onboarding, full of information to check back on, so you know what to do and what to work on with your eating and drinking habits.
​

We will use a combination of bodyweight, banded and weighted exercises; working on strength, stability and correct techniques to have the best form every single time you workout.
​

Not every day will be a full energy day, so I always to do my best to work with you in each session in a way that fits with how you are feeling (and what you need) on that particular day - even if it means i change the plan. It's never an issue as i would rather you feel good about getting some exercise done, than feel crap because you can't do something.
​

If there are ever days you need to move around (illness, appointments, general plans that get in the way), as long as i know in advance, we can find another day that week or add the session in to another week. We are all human!

Regardless of how you choose to train, all sessions are tailored to what your body needs as much as what you want for yourself. Combining bodyweight, banded and weighted exercises to get your body working the best it can, correctly; whilst reducing the likelihood of injuries and pain.

I am here to teach and support you to reach and maintain your health and fitness goals for the long term, not to get you to do anything you hate or restrict your diet so you miss out on life.

One to one in any space. Your home, office, garden, local outdoor area, my studio space etc. I’ve got you covered.
GLOBAL REMOTE COACHING
Whether you are local but are unable to have a face to face sessions; Or you are just somewhere else entirely, you’ll still be able to get your workout done with both one to one and group sessions through video call.

I have been doing remote sessions for a long time, so i can still see exactly how you move and make any adjustments.
​
You don't need loads of space or kit - if a yoga mat fits, so do you!
